I’m delighted to be a recommended photographer at the beautiful Holywell Estate wedding venue in Hampshire’s Meon Valley. This stunning location is an absolute gem, especially for those couples looking for somewhere which oozes exclusivity and celebrates the very best of the outdoors in this lovely county. The walled garden provides the most fabulous setting, while the gently rolling hills and surround woodland offer the perfect backdrop for the most perfect of days. Photo opportunities abound.

OVERVIEW:


Holywell Estate is a slice of wedding heaven deep in the Hampshire countryside. The grounds and gardens of this magnificent manor house offer the wedding couple something truly special, with a huge tipi setup within the old walled gardens, nestled away down a private drive leading down from the house. There’s absolutely no danger of anyone else encroaching on your day here – it’s all yours literally as far as the eye can see. Licensed for civil ceremonies, you and your guests could very happily spend the whole day here, or equally head straight to the gardens following an off-site ceremony to kick off your celebrations. The estate itself is absolutely beautiful with gently rolling hills and long, sweeping views. This one really has the wow factor.


PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES:


Holywell Estate is a celebration of the outdoors. Starting with the manor house itself you have a wonderfully grand statement shot, before striking out to explore the gardens, fields and woodland. All of this means that you are able to take advantage of an enormous variety of backdrops within a very close distance, so you can max out your photo opportunities without having to venture far from your guests and the fun of the party. The walled garden itself is a gorgeous, self-contained corner of the grounds; the beautiful red brick providing a lovely warm texture, and it’s all so perfectly kept. Quite frankly, photographic inspiration leaps out at you everywhere you look.


PRACTICALITIES:


Oodles of on-site parking and acres of space. The estate is located just a few miles from the M27, with the Hampshire market towns of Wickham and Bishops Waltham offering a number of accommodation choices, as well as hundreds of other options with the cities of Portsmouth and Southampton just a few miles beyond.
