Light is everything when it comes to photography, and it’s no secret that many of us are absolute suckers for that magical golden hour – that part of the day when the sun slowly dips towards the horizon and the shadows stretch ever longer. Everything is bathed in a soft, warm glow and it all just oozes romance, calm and tranquillity. And oh boy did we get to enjoy light like this as Becky and Ruari’s stunning Sopley Mill wedding moved from daytime reception through to evening party. It really was the most perfect cap to an absolutely gorgeous day – the quintessential Spring wedding in the sunshine. Down on the water meadows, Pimms on the lawn, garden games, bubbles, and an absolutely gorgeous couple right at the centre of it all.
Rest assured there will be a full blog post from this wonderful day up in due course but I really couldn’t resist sneaking up a little preview from the day while I work up the rest of the photos so here’s just the tiniest taster of what’s to come. (We got some sunset action too but that’s going to have to wait…). Huge congratulations to the newly minted Mr & Mrs Douglas. Brace yourselves, because there are a lot more photos heading your way very soon!
Fancy seeing a few more photos of wonderful Sopley Mill in all its glory? I can help you with that, right here.
