Documentary wedding photography can be so powerful, capturing fleeting moments of unguarded emotion. To achieve that I make myself as unobtrusive as possible at the right time. I love it when couples say to me that they had no idea how I could possibly have taken those shots as they were completely unaware that I was there at the time.

I just love the variety that comes with being a wedding photographer, and have covered celebrations of pretty much every size and shape imaginable, from the smallest of occasions with just the couple and their two witnesses to huge events at the grandest of venues. Church weddings, civil ceremonies, humanist celebrations and multi-denominational marriages, in abbeys and cathedrals, manor houses and country estates, farms and parks, nightclubs and restaurants…

As a Winchester Wedding Photographer I am spoilt for wonderful local venues but I regularly photograph weddings in other parts of Hampshire, Dorset and London.
